About me:

I was born in Elizabeth, New Jersey, and now proudly calls Marinette, Wisconsin home. She graduated from high school in Florida in 2000 and attended college there in 2001. In 2019, she earned her Registered Behavioral Technician certification, further strengthening her commitment to serving others.

Since moving to the Marinette–Menominee area in 2002, Chapman has built her life and career in the community. Her professional background is diverse, including work in a photography business, the service industry as a waitress and bartender, and as a bank teller. After the birth of her first child in 2008, she dedicated several years to being a stay-at-home mother.

In 2015, Chapman launched her own photography business, which she successfully operated until 2018. She made the difficult decision to close the business after being diagnosed with Lyme disease, from which she has since recovered. Her resilience and determination led her to continue serving her community as a paraprofessional at Central Elementary School in Menominee, Michigan, from 2018 until 2020.

Following the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, Chapman once again prioritized her family before returning to the workforce in 2022 as a home health caregiver. She served in that role until 2025 and currently works as a contracted commercial cleaner.

Chapman is deeply committed to her community and is driven by a passion to make a difference. She is focused on addressing critical issues such as PFAS relief, improving school funding, and supporting the needs of families across the 36th District. With strong roots in the area and a genuine dedication to helping others, Shena Chapman is ready to serve and advocate for her community.
