Protecting our water isn’t just about protecting the environment—it’s about protecting our families. When I began learning about PFAS contamination affecting communities across Wisconsin, I couldn’t stop thinking about the parents who simply turn on the faucet expecting clean, safe drinking water for their children. No family should have to question whether something as basic as a glass of water is safe. Clean water isn’t a Republican issue or a Democratic issue—it’s a Wisconsin issue, and it deserves practical solutions instead of political division.

As your State Representative, I will work to secure funding for PFAS testing and cleanup, advocate for assistance for homeowners and communities affected by contamination, and support greater transparency so families know what’s in their water. I also believe in working with scientists, local governments, water utilities, businesses, farmers, and residents to ensure decisions are based on sound science and the real needs of our communities. While important progress has been made, I believe we can continue building on that work by using resources wisely and ensuring responsible parties are held accountable when appropriate under the law.

As a mother and former paraprofessional, our schools are deeply personal to me. I’ve had the privilege of working alongside dedicated teachers and staff who pour their hearts into helping children succeed, often while stretching limited resources to meet the needs of every student. I’ve seen firsthand how one caring adult can change a child’s future, and I’ve also seen the challenges educators face when funding doesn’t keep pace with the growing needs of our classrooms. Every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and reach their full potential.

As your State Representative, I will advocate for responsible school funding that prioritizes students and supports the educators and staff who work with them every day. I believe we should continually evaluate how education funding is distributed to ensure schools have the resources they need while being responsible stewards of taxpayer dollars. I will work to strengthen support for special education, career and technical education, and student mental health services while regularly meeting with teachers, parents, administrators, school boards, and students so the decisions I make reflect the realities they experience—not assumptions made in Madison.

The 36th District has been my home for more than two decades. It’s where I’ve raised my children, owned a small business, worked in our schools, cared for local families, and built lifelong friendships. Those experiences have taught me that strong communities aren’t created by government alone—they’re built by neighbors helping neighbors, local businesses investing in their hometowns, dedicated first responders, teachers, volunteers, and families working together toward a common goal.

As your State Representative, I will advocate for responsible investments in education, infrastructure, public safety, mental health, workforce development, and local economic growth. Just as importantly, I believe effective representation begins with listening. I will make myself accessible by regularly meeting with residents, local officials, business owners, educators, first responders, healthcare professionals, and community organizations because the best ideas don’t come from one person—they come from the people who live and work here every day.
